This Bisti Badlands night sky photography workshop is designed for photographers ready to capture the Milky Way over one of the most surreal desert landscapes in the American Southwest. With hands-on instruction and small group guidance, you’ll build confidence in composition, exposure and critical focus under dark New Mexico skies. We begin around sunset, hike into the badlands for twilight compositions, and transition into Milky Way photography after dark.

• Group Size: Limited to 5 participants
• Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
• Fitness Level: Moderate. Expect a 20–30 minute walk on uneven desert terrain in low light.
