📦 Artwork

We don’t accept returns or offer refunds. That said, we stand by our work! If your artwork arrives damaged, we’ll gladly send a replacement. Email photos of the damaged item to hello@alanstenbackphotography.us within 10 days of receiving it.

📸 Workshops & Retreats

All workshop payments are non-refundable, including deposits and final balances. This applies to cancellations due to personal conflicts, clouds or overcast skies, or any other unforeseen circumstances.

🌩️ Weather

If severe weather (lightning, high winds, extreme storms) makes the event unsafe, you’ll be offered:

• A spot in a future or rescheduled workshop, or
• Access to our full online post-processing sessions and bonus content

If skies are cloudy but safe, the workshop still runs as planned – including instruction during golden hour, sunset, and night setup.

📍 Travel & Transportation

You’re responsible for your own travel, including:

• Airfare or transportation to the workshop location
• Airport transfers and local travel unless otherwise noted

We’ll provide guidance and suggestions, but travel logistics are up to you.

🛡️ Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance with trip cancellation coverage. This protects you in case of illness, injury, weather delays, or other disruptions. Refunds won’t be issued for travel-related issues, so having coverage is smart.

⚠️ Risk & Liability

By signing up, you acknowledge that outdoor photography workshops can include:

• Hiking at high elevation
• Rugged terrain and low-light conditions
• Exposure to unpredictable weather and wildlife
• Remote locations without immediate access to emergency services

You accept full responsibility for your own safety, health, and equipment, and release the following from any liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage:

• Roam With Us
• Workshop assistants and affiliated partners

You also confirm you’re physically capable of participating and have disclosed any relevant health conditions.

📷 Media Release

By participating in any workshop or retreat, you grant permission to Alan Stenback, Gina Stenback, Alan Stenback Photography, Stenback Digital Media Ltd, and Roam With Us to use photographs or video of you taken during the event for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes—across all media formats including web, social, print, and advertising.

This also includes any images you voluntarily share with us after the event. You waive the right to compensation or approval for use of your likeness or submitted images.
